Our story
Built around a simple idea.
Every product has a place, a people and a heritage. We want the world to see all three.
01
The vision
Agricultural products deserve to be understood in the context of their origin, their producers, and their cultural heritage. INKA ORIGIN is being built to connect exceptional Andean products with international markets — with that context intact.
02
The people behind the product
Behind every lot are farmers, families and communities with deep expertise. We want them to be visible on their own terms, as partners — not as a backdrop.
03
Andean agricultural diversity
The Andes are one of the world's great centres of crop diversity. Coffee is our first origin, and Chuncho cacao — together with its derivatives, cacao butter and cacao powder — is our star product. Quinoa, native corn, maca and native potatoes may follow.
04
Transparent origin information
We share what is documented, label what is not yet confirmed, and build traceability step by step rather than claiming it upfront.
05
Respectful collaboration
Long-term relationships, fair conversations and shared decisions about how stories, images and knowledge are used.
Our principle
“Nothing about the community without the community.”
Documenting traditional knowledge and cultural practices requires informed consent, proper attribution, and respect for community ownership and interests. Stories, images and knowledge are shared only with permission — and communities keep a say in how they are used.
